Well, this weekend was some of the most fun I've had in years. The campout, though there were a few problems, was awesome, then today I got to hang out with my non-cosplay friends, pretty much just talking about shit, looking on 4chan at Hentai/Alternative for teh lulz.

The camp-out, in depth:

First, picked me up to get there. We listened to some Vocaloid songs she had download the night before. I felt like such an otaku when I realized I could name most of them. We got there around 1:30, was warmly welcomed, then hung out inside for a while, waiting for people to arrive. Hiro-san and L were playing Dissedia until we headed out to Tomodachi for their Halloween event. I met Echo there, procceeded to buy a model Gundam, then hung out at Borders for a good while.

Around maybe 4:30, Aizen and his bitches ( and friends) arrived. Bugged the ex-wife while Aizen stole my pimp hat and cane, forming Pimp Aizen. After another 15 mins, I was informed by my ride that we had to leave. We hung out at the house for a while, making the fire, trick-or-treating, waiting for everyone to finally get back. After that, more hanging out till Bleach went on. Somewhere between 10 and 11 Tohsaka left after being told to go outside, since he was in a skirt and boots, he felt Uber-cold and just left.

After Bleach is when the fun began. People decided to go to sleep, and Aizen cooked a few more buns till around 2 am (1 if you consider DST, but I won't for this post as the clock we were using didn't switch over) when he took a 20 minute nap, when Hiro came in, and accidently woke him up with the door closing. Someone came up with the idea that we should post on the detour forums about us being up at 2:30, and we decided "We totally should". After that, things were just hilarious as hell. Around 3, we thought we should turn the camera on and do a short re-dub of Deathnote. After maybe 10 minutes, we went outside, screwed around, having the time of our lives, and eventually turned the camera off after about 35 minutes of filming.

We then calmed down a tad, watched the final episode of GitS and Big O, after which Aizen and Hiro fell asleep. I stayed up for 1 episode of Inuyasha, and finally koncked out at 5:30(4:30). We were woken up by Kit taking pictures of us sleeping on the Chairs/Couch. We showed L about 2 minutes of us on the camera, then it died. Not much happened after that. People left, I played the shit outta Dissedia, and eventually we left too, around 3:30 I think.

I don't think I'll have this much fun until the next campout, most likely the 4th of July Otaku Camp-out.

Coming up this weekend I got Nebraskon, which is also gonna be pretty bitchin'. It'll also be my first con besides detour. I'll be revealing the full version of Pimp Lelouch to the public, plus wearing my kimono for my cosplays, probably go plain-cloths on Sunday. Anyone else going to Nebraskon? Maybe we could meet up, maybe even do a barbeque at my grandpa's place(where I'm staying).
